Dastarkhwan

A free daily kitchen serving hot meals to anyone who comes. It has not missed a day since 2014.

Where the money goes

Shaan Welfare takes no platform fee and no cut for administration from your donation.

No platform fee

We charge nothing to process your gift. The only deduction is the card fee, which you can choose to cover.

Zakat kept separate

Zakat is tracked as restricted funds and given only to recipients eligible under Islamic guidelines.

Receipts on every gift

A receipt is emailed immediately. Formal receipts carrying our registration details are available on request.

Funds are collected and distributed in accordance with Shariah. Monthly distribution figures and dated photography from Orangi Town are published here — ask us for the current month on WhatsApp at any time.
